How to find the best talent for your occasion!

When you look forward to a big moment in your life, or just need an excuse to throw a party, this is the place to look!  Solos, musical groups or full-sized aggregations are tailored to suit your needs and budget.

The nucleus of this operation has been known as presenting a variety of styles and moods: Gordy Wilson, on keyboards (what did you expect?); sort of heads up the group and custom structures the other players as needed for the particular setting, type of music and venue.

Local musicians are drawn from a "pool" if you will of players who have worked together many times over the years.  This insures the best combo to suit your needs.  If you live near Champaign-Urbana, you've heard this group as the musical backing for Tony Clements' Comedy Cafe, an annual event sponsored by WHMS Lite-Rock radio, also featuring Mike Haile.

The "new nucleus", the Gordy Wilson Trio has emerged more recently. For years, Gordy has kicked around the idea of an all purpose, but not diluted, group dedicated to quick, on the spot response to the needs of each event. Some advance preparation (please don't say rehearsal) is needed, but the musicians also need to "turn on a dime" to fill the needs of each unique event. One of the most challenging examples of this need is the wedding reception. We are very pleased to have received the following response from a summer 2005 wedding engagement:

This is just to say that we had a fantastic time at the wedding, and that the Gordy Wilson trio was absolutely perfect. So many people complimented us, saying things like: "Thanks for no cheesy, talk-y band!" "Thanks for music that is not loud and banging and drives us away!"
