Tuning - "About 40 years ago I decided
to learn piano tuning since I couldn't find a tuner who met my exacting
standards as a player. I'm still at it!"
"I am the
official tuner for Foellinger Auditorium by University of Illinois
on Continuous Purchase Order. In addition to the on
stage grand I have also tuned personal instruments for Herbie
Hancock and Harry Connick, Jr. at this facility. I have tuned
several pianos for touring artists at the
Assembly Hall, most
recently Bill Gaither and Matchbox Twenty."
Thanks!

This may sound silly, but when your piano needs to be tuned, be sure to
find someone who knows how to tune one. As expected, there's more
to it than meets the ear. You not only want to have it tuned
properly but you want it to stay in tune (for a reasonable amount
of time).
Ask around. Talk to
teachers, church players and professionals who use their instruments
all the time. Find out who they recommend and chances are, our
name will come up again and again. We'll be quite pleased to put
you on the schedule and do a good job for you too.
Your piano
demands a professional hand. Anyone with a tuning fork and
lever
can pose as a tuner. Insist on training and experience...and a
long list of satisfied customers.
